When I'm not house hunting, my house is usually full of dogs. I foster for Pet Pack Rescue Initiative, and we recently had a mama and her whole litter here. The best part? Every puppy, and eventually Mom, went to a great home!

This handsome guy just stayed with us, and he's looking for his forever home. Big ears, bigger smile, and he made fast friends with Lucy. He's available through Pet Pack Rescue Initiative.

Meet Lucy, the boss

Lucy is the sweetest old lady at 13, and she happily welcomes every foster pup into her home. She's like a grandma to the puppies, and they're always gentle with her. When she's not on grandma duty, she's checking out the trails and riverbanks around Peoria with me.

Pet Pack Rescue Initiative is an all-foster, all-volunteer rescue in East Peoria. If you've got a soft spot (and a spare couch cushion), they're always looking for fosters and forever homes.
